Change in Microsoft's official font: From Calibri to Aptos

Microsoft changes its official font with Calibri on Aptos. The previous font was entered in 2007 when it replaced Times New Roman in Word and Arial in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. The new Aptos font, which was developed by the world -famous Steve Matteson font designer, is implemented after years of review and feedback.

Aptos font is simple and understandable how it usually happens with unconditional fonts. Matteson tried to add a "light human touch" font, making the edges softer. However, the font is still very mechanical, with an emphasis on readability, not creativity.
In general, the Aptos font is suitable, but nothing revolutionary. Unfortunately, fans of decorative fonts may have to wait a little more before the smooth courses will appear in the Microsoft typical font collection.
