The Finnish newspaper has developed a font that visualizes climate change

The Helsingin Sanomat Finnish newspaper has developed a font that visualizes the effects of climate change caused by human activity. Instead of using variable fonts to install different scales in one font file, the newspaper's management command used this technology to "melt" the font.
- 📌 A variable font technique is used to illustrate climate change.
- 📌 The font reflects the decrease in the volume of Arctic sea ice since 1979.
- 📌 The font data is taken with NSIDC and IPCC.
- 📌 The font is available for free download.
