New Google artificial intelligence technologies for Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphones

Google has announced several new artificial intelligence (AI) features that will appear in the newly released Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphones. These progressive solutions demonstrate the continued collaboration with Samsung and the integration of Google's artificial intelligence technologies into Samsung devices.

"With our latest advances in AI, we have the opportunity to improve what billions of people already love about Android," said Hiroshi Lockheimer, Google's senior vice president of platforms and ecosystems.

🚀 The new Galaxy S24 line, which includes the S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra models, will use Google's AI Gemini models to deliver next-generation capabilities. Samsung applications such as Notes, Voice Recorder and Keyboard will use Gemini Pro to provide improved conciseness and performance. The Galaxy S24 Gallery app will also get Generative Edit, powered by Google's Imagen 2 text-to-image diffusion model, for useful photo editing tools.

Search by circle

One of the new features is Circle to Search, which allows users to search for anything on their phone by simply highlighting text, images or videos. Search results will include AI-generated overviews that concisely present critical information, allowing users to quickly understand concepts without switching between apps.

Improved notification system

The messaging system will also receive an update. Google Messages on the Galaxy S24 will introduce features such as Magic Compose, which offers stylish messages using AI, and Photomoji, which creates custom emojis from users' photos using generative models. These additions aim to make messaging more personalized and engaging.

Improved Android Auto

For drivers, Android Auto on the Galaxy S24 will automatically condense long texts and suggest appropriate actions such as navigation or making a call while on the road. The interface will also match the look and feel of the Samsung device for a seamless experience.
