Navboost: Deciphering Google's patent and its impact on web page rankings

There is a lot of speculation as to what Navboost is, but as far as I know, no one has been able to identify a patent that is closely related to the original Navboost. However, there is a 2004 patent that closely matches our understanding of Navboost.
