Medium presents a new logo: third change in three years

The Medium web publication platform has decided to change its logo by returning to its original Slab-Serif font. This hints that the previous logo has not achieved the expected results.
The 2015-2017 logo was a strange image, a pseudo-isometric effort combined with an inconspicuous mid-range font; It always looked like an idea compromised too big. The new logo is much bolder and has some editorial authority.
🚀 The new logo works in a black and white version, paying tribute to the brand history, not being completely dependent on it. It resembles mastges of authoritative publications such as New York Times or Washington Post without introducing Blackletter.
🚀 In addition to the logo, "Medium" uses a monogram - the capital letter "m", spread on a black background. The monogram is designed to use where the logo is too detailed.
- 📌 Medium logo has been changed for the third time in the last three years.
- 📌 The new design is more reminiscent of the original company logo.
- 📌 The logo works in a black and white version, which is the basic principle of logo design.
- 📌 Medium also uses a monogram for cases where the logo is too detailed.
