Material Design: Renament, Development and Resources

Material Design was presented in 2014 at the Google I/O conference. It combined and strengthened many concepts of flat design that have already been hugged by designers. Material Design was also one of the first large design systems that re-entered the territory of Skuomorphism with their thin shadows and a focus approaching a tactile or "material" interface.

🚀 Today, Material Design has become an extremely popular design system that many people use to quickly create their applications and websites. And Google did it even easier with the new updated Material.io site.
