BIC experiment: the essence of the middle form of the letter written by the human hand

BIC conducts an experiment by collecting data through a microvolt on which users can draw the letters of the alphabet using their mobile device touch screen. All data are then collected in the BIC database.

🚀 Once the user draws his characters, the Bic application combines them with the characters sent by other users and averages them, creating the so -called "universal font".

💡 It is interesting that some characters that have come out of the experiment have very expressive and original shapes.

🧠 The most interesting are the characters for which there are several acceptable shapes. For example, is there a horizontal line at the top "J"? Is "i" consisting of one or three strokes? Is the main stroke "y" vertical or diagonal?
