Cards as a key tool for finding local businesses: new research


According to the research, one of five consumers is now looking directly in cards, not traditional search engines. 15% of consumers use Google Maps as the first choice for local searches. This makes this platform the second most popular after Google Search (45%).
🚀 Different age groups use card platforms at different rates: 18% of Generation Z Generation Use Google Maps as the main tool for local search, which is three percentages above the average. 21% of millennials use Google Maps as their standard platform for local search. 5% of millennials prefer Apple Maps as their main option for local search.
