Openai plans for the release of a predominant open source AI

CEO OPENAI, Sam Altman, recently stated that the company plans to release an open source model that will be more capable than any available. At the same time, he acknowledged that it would probably be used in ways that some may not like it, but he emphasized that highly visible open systems played an important role. He described this step as a response to a deeper understanding of AI risks, hinting that it was time for Openai to work actively with the open source models again.
