Growth of AI use in the world: advantages, challenges and views


According to a new Google-IPSOS study, artificial intelligence (AI) is growing worldwide, especially in developing markets. However, this study also identifies a number of challenges, including regional differences, gender inequalities and slow adoption in developed countries.
71% of US residents in 2024 did not use AI generative, and 58% believe that AIs will be unlikely to benefit them.
AI optimism is growing, but it does not capture everyone. 57% of people are captured by AI compared to 43%, which are concerned.
The report emphasizes the gender gap in the use of AI: 55% of AI users in the world - men, compared to 45% of women. The gap is even more professional, where 41% of AI professional users are women.
